WHY ŠIBENIK

Šibenik, the oldest native Croatian city on the Adriatic, is located in the most protected natural harbour, in the centre of the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea, at the mouth of the beautiful Krka River and near the bottom of Dinara mountain. It is the cultural, educational, administrative and economic centre of the County of Šibenik and Knin.

Magnificent medieval centre, fortifications, cafés and restaurants make this city an authentic Mediterranean destination with its own Dalmatian lifestyle. There are several historical fortresses in Šibenik and its surroundings which can be used as spectacular event venues.

The neighboring islands can be visited with various types of vessels equipped for different programs. The whole region is famous for its spectacular archipelago, hundreds of islands and islets and turquoise blue sea. Sailing around Kornati islands National Park is a surreal experience.
